On Thursday, June 11, from  4 – 6 p.m., The Peaks Resort and Golden Door Spa, in Telluride, will host a Pool Party for the One to One San Miguel Mentoring program.  Director of Sales and Marketing, Mike Hess and his associate, Amanda Acosta have invited the One to One kids and mentors to enjoy the new Pool Grill for a totally kid-friendly afternoon that includes hot dogs, chips, sliced fruit, sodas, popcorn and my favorite, cotton candy.

One to One San Miguel Mentoring is all about changing the world one challenged child at a time, starting locally. Specifically the commitment is to provide mentoring experiences for children, ages 5-17, in Telluride, Norwood , Naturita, and Nucla.  The role of the mentor is to give guidance, companionship and understanding to a child. It is the relationship itself that makes the difference in a child’s life.  To learn more about becoming a mentor, signing up a child for the program or to donate visit www.onetoonetelluride.com or call 970-728-0885.
