Telluride Inside… and Out recently visited the campus of Crow Canyon Archaeological Center, outside of Cortez, Colorado. Crow Canyon’s Director of Research and Education, Dr. Scott Ortman, showed off some of the pottery in their facility and linked pottery designs with weaving patterns. In our next video installment Dr. Ortman continues the discussion, adding some thoughts about the connection of pottery and weaving with the evolution of language.
