During the holiday season, big, gaudy and gorgeous, strung on houses and trees, lights shine like the queen’s jewels. It’s glass with attitude. Telluride itself is all blinged out.
Inside, shops respond to the sparkling show outside with razzle-dazzle of their own. During Christmas week, Lustre Gallery for one has a trunk show with a new (to the gallery) jewelry artist, Ashley Berman of the Ashley Morgan Collection. The event takes place the week of 12/23 – 1/5/2011, with a special five-year anniversary bash December 30, 5 – 8 p.m.
Ashley Morgan’s unique look – each piece Ashley designs is one-of-a-kind and incorporates rare and unusual stones – grabbed the attention of Hollywood stars, sparklers in their own right such as La Jolie, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Denise Richards. Lucky magazine placed Ashley among its “Designers to Watch.”
