Jupiter and the Moon

Webvic11_Aug20ni If any of you are up around midnight over the next few days, take a look at bright planet Jupiter as it rises above the eastern horizon. It's brilliant beauty far outshines any other point of light in the night sky – except the waning Moon, of course! – so it's impossible to miss. Also check out the most delicate and equisite "dipper" in the heavens, the Pleiades – or Seven Sisters – twinkling in eternity, not far behind Jupiter, also rising near or after midnight. Enjoy the show!
