SINGLE DAY BLUES & BREWS TIX GOING FAST

You snooze, you lose

Tickets are going fast for the 19th Annual Telluride Blues & Brews Festival. Only a limited number of Single Day passes remain for Friday and Sunday, with Saturday tickets now Sold Out, apart from a handful of local tickets.

Sunday tickets are $65 each, and Friday tickets are just $55 each. Three-day passes are also available for $170 each, and festival 4-day camping passes are $40 per person.

Tickets can be purchased online at tellurideblues.com, by phone at 866.515.6166, or in person at both Telluride Music, located at 123 E. Colorado Ave. and Wizard Entertainment, located at 126 E. Colorado Avenue.

Saturday’s ticket includes the always-popular Grand Tasting. One of the Southwest’s premier beer tasting events, the Grand Tasting features more than 150 beers from over 50 microbreweries. Breweries will showcase special edition brews with their favorite flavors from noon – 3 p.m. Festival bands Monophonics, Orgone and MarchFourth Marching Band will rock the Main Stage during the Grand Tasting while attendees can taste releases from 56 brewers and vote on their “Best of the Fest.”

The 2012 Festival weekend features headliners Phil Lesh & Friends, Gov’t Mule, and The B-52s. Additional performances include Little Feat, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Robert Randolph & the Family Band, The Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Anders Osborne, The Lee Boys, Heartless Bastards, Tab Benoit, Kelley Hunt, Little Hurricane, and many more.

Festival highlights include a wide variety of food and craft vendors, the Rainbow Kids area and Kid’s parade, free Blues for Breakfast concerts, late night shows at local Juke Joints, and the Telluride Acoustic Blues Competition.
