FASHION FRIDAY: DRESSING FOR FALL

FASHION FRIDAY: DRESSING FOR FALL

Some say this is the hardest time of year to get dressed in the morning.  The transitions from summer to fall, from chilly mornings to warm afternoons, and from sundresses to cashmere capes makes it hard to decide what to put on.  Some make a dramatic switch from their summer to winter closet, raking away lightweight favorites like fallen leaves.

But it doesn’t have to be that clean a break. Follow these accessorizing tips to easily transition your wardrobe from breezy summer style to a fashion forward fall.

A good layering look for fall.

 1.  Add texture with a leather or faux fur vest, tweed jacket, or ribbed tights.
2.  Incorporate fall colors like maroon, mustard, and emerald.
3.  Add a playful belt or scarf. Consider animal prints.
4.  Try booties: the perfect transition footwear for covered up toes but exposed legs.
