TWENTY (BY) TELLURIDE: MOUNTAINFILM EDITION

Twenty(by)Telluride is a fun and creative gathering held throughout the year at venues around town and in Mountain Village. The event is designed to showcase the innovation, knowledge and ideas of members of our extended community through very short, fast-paced presentations: participants are asked to adhere to a strict format of 20 slides and 20 seconds per slide.

Twenty(by)Telluride is back with a special Mountainfilm edition. The FREE event takes place Wednesday, May 22,  7 – 8 p.m, at the historic Sheridan Opera House and features Peter Kenworthy, Audrey Marnoy, Jeff Hauser, Rebecca Martin and Scott Harris.

Twenty (by) Telluride was the brainchild of Telluride Arts’ executive director Kate Jones, who was inspired in part by TED.

The now iconic TED conference is a nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design.

Locally, Twenty(By)Telluride challenges presenters  to share what makes them tick—their inspiration, their creative process, their muse.

Once again, the local formula for success:

20 slides
+ 20 seconds each
÷ a theme
x a few great minds
=  Twenty(by)Telluride
