He comes by it naturally. The big hair I mean. (See John Steel, his dad.) Also the razor sharp, sardonic wit. (Ditto.)

Zachary “Zach” Steel is an American actor, who portrays Gibson on A.N.T. Farm. He is the writer of the TV series “Book Club” and has appeared in many films and TV series himself. Zach is also co-author (with Adam Carpenter) of “Me Rich, You Learn,” a wild and wooly two-man show, long on physical comedy, recently performed at the Hollywood Fringe Festival, which got raves.

Zach will be in Telluride with “Me Rich,You Learn” as part of the Telluride Playwrights Festival’s rich line up of plays and plays-in-progress, Tuesday, July 23 – Sunday, July 28. His production goes up Wednesday, July 24, 9 p.m. at the Sheridan Opera House.

The Hollywood Fringe website sums up “Me Rich, You Learn” as follows:

Former millionaire and convicted tax evader TR Hamer has his world re-collapse while attempting to do an IRS-mandated community service show. En route to rock bottom number two, and despite the efforts of Senior IRS agent Martin Almond, TR proceeds to rewrite the show, sad-eat a pile of marshmallows, crawl into a bag, and fall in love a bunch of times while threatening suicide. From within the madness, TR begins to suspect that his “tormentor” Martin Almond might be the only thing propping him up.

“The best comedy I’ve seen in ages,” The Detective

“This show is destined to be a comedic hit,” Examiner

“The directing of Turner Munch is nothing less than magical,” SLAM
