27 Sep Your Ah Haa Moment: Fall Painting Academy
The Ah Haa School for the Arts is excited to announce a new schedule for our Fall Painting Academy
This fall, Ah Haa offers two, two-week blocks for a total of four weeks of the Telluride Painting Academy.
Artist Gregory Botts teaches the first session.
Bott’s intensive, “Figure Painting, Drawing into Painting,” takes place Monday, October 21- Friday, November 1.
During the first week, the focus is on drawing and acrylic painting. The second week is devoted to painting the figure in oil. Students will also examine art history, using that continuum as a guide throughout the class.
Robert Weatherford teaches “Finding Your Voice,” for the second session, Monday, November 4- Friday, November 15.
Weatherford’s intensive welcomes new and experienced painters for what promises to be a transformational experience.
Tuition for each two-week session is $1,000 (plus a $250 model fee for Gregory’s class), or $2,250 for the combined blocks.
Classes run from 9 a.m.-1p.m., Monday-Friday, with the studio available 24 hours and on weekends.
Additional slide shows and lectures will also be scheduled.
For students coming from out of town, Ah Haa has secured reasonable private or shared housing.
Enrollment is limited to 12 students only.
