Monday, October 14, 5:30 p.m. 

The Law Office of Brown & Brown P.C. is back in town with the second part of a four-part legal workshop series, which takes place the Monday of every month at the Library.  The topic: “What to Do When Someone Dies.”  

Have you lost a loved one recently? Do you have questions on how to administer their estate? This valuable workshop covers the following topics:

Thursday. October 17, 6 p.m.

Research biologist and “fractivist” Shane Davis presents how fracking is affecting Colorado.

Davis plans to address the recent effects of flooding on fracking sites in the Front Range. The San Juan mountains also sit on a big shale bed and Davis will provide information about how the Western Slope can mitigate its fracking risks moving forward.

Lots of time for questions and discussion.

Thursday, October 24, 5 p.m.

The Wilkinson Public Library Board of Trustees plans to hold a special meeting to vote on the issue of re-opening the library on Sundays beginning December 1. The public is invited to attend. A 2014 draft budget and summary can be viewed at telluridelibrary.org.

Take advantage of free health screenings offered by Tri-County Health Network every Wednesday through December, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. in the small meeting room.

Screenings include cholesterol, blood glucose, blood pressure BMI, and weight and weight.

Thursdays, 2 – 3 p.m., Tech Time, the Library offers help with confounding electronic devices.

And more, including yoga classes, Pilates, zumba, and meditation.
