02 Nov 38th Annual KOTO Ski Swap This Saturday
It’s that time of year. A time when it’s officially old enough to start packing up the summer hiking and biking gear and pulling out the winter skiing and hockey gear. And when the days start getting this short, it means it also officially time for the KOTO Ski Swap.
The 38th Annual KOTO Ski & Sport Swap will take place Nov. 8th through the 10th in the basement of the Wilkinson Public Library. Check in is on Friday, the 8th, from 3-7. The Swap is Saturday, the 9th, from 9-4. Pick up your money or unsold goods on Sunday, November 10th, from 10-2. Merchandise tags are $1 a piece, and may be picked up in advance at KOTO during business hours, or at check-in. Twenty percent of all sales benefit KOTO Community Radio in Telluride. There will be four silent auctions each for a pair of Telluride Golf passes, with the winners announced at 4 pm on Saturday; winners need not be present to win. The Telluride Ski and Golf Company will be at the SWAP on Saturday selling great deals on various ski packages and passes.
Volunteering for the SWAP entitles you to shop at the preswap at 8 pm, Friday night. Sign up to volunteer at KOTO. There are volunteer shifts available Wednesday, November 6th, through Friday, November 15th. For more information, check out KOTO or call 728.8100.
