Propose a Show

The Ah Haa School has two beautiful gallery spaces for local and regional artists to exhibit a variety of media, from paintings and photographs to sculpture, ceramics and fiber arts. Ah Haa curates exhibitions that generally rotate monthly, but also welcomes proposals for solo and group shows at both galleries. Most of our exhibition openings correspond with Telluride’s First Thursday Art Walks, which happen throughout the year.

The 1,000-square-foot Daniel Tucker Gallery is beautifully lit and boasts high ceilings – perfect for exhibiting both two- and three-dimensional art, whether in a solo or group exhibition. The Gallery is a multipurpose space and gets lots of traffic daily from locals and visitors. It is used for classes, weddings, lectures, theater rehearsals and special events, while showcasing a variety of rotating exhibitions.

The East Room Gallery is a smaller, more intimate space that is 500 square feet. It is perfect for a solo exhibition, but can also work for a modest sized group show. The East Room is a multipurpose room as well, and gets daily traffic from visitors and students.

If you have an idea for a great show or installation that is ready to hang, feel free to fill out Ah Haa’s Exhibition Proposal Form, available online at www.ahhaa.org or call the Ah Haa at 728-3886. Exhibitions primarily showcase regional artists, but national artists are sometimes featured. Our exhibition committee reviews proposals in the fall for the upcoming year.
