Telluride Arts: Twenty (by) Telluride Tuesday

Twenty (by) TellurideTelluride Arts’ Twenty(by)Telluride is a lively, casual event that offers an intimate glimpse into some of Telluride’s most creative minds through very fast-paced slide presentations. Each presenter has exactly 20 slides and each slide is shown for exactly 20 seconds, challenging the presenters to be clear and precise.

Twenty(by)Telluride returns with a special Telluride Mountain Club edition. The FREE event takes place Tuesday, December 17,  7 – 8 p.m, at the historic Sheridan Bar and features:

Sherab Kloppenburg
Tor Anderson
Stash Wislocki
Kellie Day
Amy Schilling

Twenty(by)Telluride was the brainchild of Telluride Arts’ executive director Kate Jones, who was inspired in part by TED.

The now iconic TED conference is a nonprofit devoted to “Ideas Worth Spreading.” It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design.

Locally, Twenty(By)Telluride challenges presenters to share what makes them tick—their inspiration, their creative process, their muse(s).

Once again, the math:

20 slides
+ 20 seconds each
÷ a theme
x a few great minds
=  Twenty(by)Telluride
