Yes January. And with the New Year right around the corner, the Telluride Historical Museum wants you to resolve to prioritize its upcoming winter activities, including:

•  Ski into History Tours

            Fridays from Jan 3 – Mar 28  10a.m. – 12p.m.  FREE

Tour the slopes with local storyteller Ashley Boling and discover Telluride’s

legendary history. Meet at the Peaks Resort – Level B.

 

•  Historic Snowshoe Tour – Alta Lakes

            Sat., Jan 18                 9:30 a.m. – 2p.m.             $45 / $35 Members & Students

Eco-Adventures leads this snowshoe trek to Alta

Lakes, sharing the natural beauty and historic significance of this

mining ghost town. Meet at Eco-Adventures in Mountain Village at

9:30 a.m. Snowshoe rental is included.

 

•  After School at the Museum – Electricity!

            Wed., Jan 22               3:30 – 4:15 p.m.             FREE

Embrace your inner mad scientist and head to the Museum after school

for some electrifying experiments. Learn more of Telluride’s innovative

past and conduct some electricity of your own.

 

•  Saloon Night @ the Steaming Bean

            Thurs., Jan 30             7 – 10pm         $20 advance/$25 door

Step back into Telluride in 1890 and belly up to the bar

at the Steaming Bean. Try yer hand at cards,

swing a saloon girl ’round the floor, and enjoy live

music while supporting the Telluride Museum’s

educational programs.
