Following an outstanding 2016-2017 season, the Telluride Ski Resort is looking towards next year and has set its operating dates for the 2017-2018 season. Opening Day is scheduled for Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 23, 2017) and Closing Day is set for Sunday, April 8, 2018.

“With the Easter holiday falling on Sunday, April 1, next year, we anticipate it would be beneficial to extend the season by one week,” said Bill Jensen, CEO of Telluride Ski Resort. “Spring typically offers some of our best snow conditions. This later closing date will allow visitors to extend their Easter holiday and enjoy Telluride during one of the warmest and sunniest parts of our season.”

In addition to a later closing, the early season in Telluride will be marked by easier access than ever before.

Destination guests will benefit from continued year-round flights from Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) to Montrose-Telluride (MTJ), as well as Great Lakes’ year-round service from Denver to Telluride (TEX) and United’s year-round service from Denver to Montrose-Telluride (MTJ). Lodges and hotels across Telluride are already accepting reservations for next winter and guests are encouraged to book early as availability during the high seasons tends to fill very quickly.

Rates for lift tickets, ski and snowboard lessons, and season passes will be released later this summer. Sign up for the Telluride Ski & Golf Resort Newsletter to receive a notification as products and pricing are released.
