Join the Telluride Foundation’s Telluride Venture Accelerator Program for a casual event to learn more about a few of the innovative companies and programs STARTING UP in Telluride.

The gathering features a quick update from a handful of local efforts including Next Law Labs, Telluride Medical Partners, Felt App, Western Rise & Telluride Venture Accelerator (TVA). This is not a pitch event; just a chance to share the stories of a few incredibly creative businesses which are helping to diversify Telluride’s local economy.

Next Law Labs: Nextlaw Labs was co-founded by a local serial entrepreneur with the audacious goal of re-inventing the practice of law via technology. With the backing of Dentons, the world’s largest law firm, Nextlaw Labs and its investment arm Nextlaw Ventures have a global reach with portfolio companies and technology solutions in Australia, South Africa, the UK, Europe, Canada, and the US. These solutions leverage cutting-edge technologies that include Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, and blockchain that are re-inventing legal use cases ranging from expert legal research, to predictive analytics, to smart contracting leveraging the Internet of Things (ioT), among many others.

Telluride Medical Partners: TMP is a medical device accelerator comprised of business entrepreneurs and medical device engineers who are experienced in combining both business and technical knowledge, upstream market identification, monetization strategies, and execution towards the development and growth of creative medical devices. Whether taking the company to full commercialization or an early exit through acquisition, TMP utilizes its internal team of experts and vast network of service professionals to realize each company’s unique business objectives.

Felt App: The most personal way to send paper greeting cards from your iPhone is based in Telluride year ’round. The founders recently went on Shark Tank where they scored a deal with Kevin O’Leary. Apple has also featured Felt as the #1 app for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Christmas.
