Looking for something to do this off-season? Throw the bikes on the car, grab your compass and get ready for some great outdoor fun. Nestled in western Colorado’s alluring high desert just north west of Grand Junction, Fruita offers a variety of outdoor adventures including some of Colorado’s finest mountain biking terrain, killer white water rafting and hiking trails filled with the area’s incredible natural beauty.
On April 24th through the 27th, Fruita will be celebrating its 19th annual Fat Tire Festival. From the festival’s VIP party on Thursday night, the live bands Friday and Saturday evenings in downtown Fruita to one of the top cycling expos in the state, this festival has something for every mountain bike enthusiast.
