Trails are groomed in the park and at Trout Lake and the skiing is excellent. Priest Lake has been rough groomed, but needs more snow.  Currently the track has many hidden obstacles. You don’t want to wreck your skis or your knees.

The Telluride Nordic Association Annual Meeting, potluck, and gear swap is Sunday December 7, 4-7pm at the Ah-Haa School. Everyone is welcome to come and meet other folks interested in Nordic skiing.

Cindy Farny will host cross-country ski clinics on Saturday December 13, in Town Park. All levels are welcome. Classic from 10 am-12pm. Skate from 1pm-3pm. $25 for one clinic. $40 for both sessions. $10 gear rental from the Nordic Center. Arrive early to fit rental gear. Space is limited. Call the Nordic Center at 728-1144 to sign up.

The Middle School/ High School after- school Nordic skiing program begins in December and will run on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Equipment assistance is available. Go to tssc.org for more information and to register.

Stay tuned for more Nordic clinics and events in the new year. The Valley Floor Full Moon Ski will be in January and the Butch Cassidy Ski Chase will be in February.
