As we approach the winter solstice, Planet Bluegrass is proud to announce the preliminary single-day lineup for the 42nd Annual Telluride Bluegrass Festival (June 18-21, 2015).

4-day passes for the festival sold-out in 10 minutes after going onsale on Friday, December 5. In those 10 minutes, Planet Bluegrass received orders from all 50 states and numerous foreign countries, with online orders arriving at a rate of 40 per second.

Thursday and Sunday single-day tickets, as well as camping in several nearby campgrounds, are still available at www.bluegrass.com or 800-624-2422.

Saturday and Friday single-day tickets are now sold-out.

Set in a historic mining town deep in the San Juan Mountains of southwestern Colorado, the 10,000-person festival is held the weekend of the summer solstice. Four different alpine waterfalls are visible throughout the small town (population 2000, elevation 8750′).

The 2014 Telluride Bluegrass Festival has been has been nominated for the prestigious “Music Festival of the Year” award in the live music industry’s 26th Annual Pollstar Awards.  This marks the first time any Colorado event has been nominated for one of Pollstar’s festival awards.
