On Thursday, September 17, 2015 the Telluride Adaptive Sports Program will host their 17th Annual Bob Miller Memorial Golf Classic. This tournament will take place at the Telluride Ski and Golf Club in the Mountain Village with proceeds benefiting the Adaptive Program’s scholarship fund for low-income participants.

TASP is dedicated to enriching the lives of people with disabilities by providing therapeutic recreational opportunities.

This annual golf scramble has raised over $70,000  in previous years, making it one of the largest fundraising events for the Telluride Adaptive Sports Program. The entry fee of $250/player or $1000/team includes greens fees, golf cart, range balls, continental breakfast, bag lunch, tournament goody bag, and admittance to the awards dinner party and auction at The Ridge Club. Shotgun start is at 9 a.m. and space is limited.

The party includes dinner and drinks and there will also be a silent and live auction featuring many one-of-a-kind items, golf trips, and more. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for individuals unable to attend the tournament or party.  To register or for more information, please call 970.728.5010 or visit TASP’s website at www.tellurideadaptivesports.org

Did you play golf on the snow? It couldn’t be, right?

Sometimes it snows in Telluride in August, but the Golf Classic mostly has to worry about thundershowers!
