The Sheridan Arts Foundation and Cornerhouse Grille are proud to present the third annual Telluride Tribute Fest, featuring two nights of live music paying tribute to two legendary bands at the Sheridan Opera House.

The Tribute Fest kicks off Friday, March 11 with Under a Blood Red Sky, a Tribute to U2. Tickets are $30 general admission on the floor and $40 reserved in the balcony.

Under a Blood Red Sky is based in Denver. Their love of U2’s music has brought them together to form the greatest U2 tribute band in the USA.

After first recreating U2’s legendary “Live at Red Rocks” concert from 1983 in 2005 on New Year’s Eve to a sold out show at the Paramount Theater, the group has since expanded their show to include a full range of songs from all eras of U2’s impressive career. With such attention to detail, you’ll close your eyes and think you are in the front row of Red Rocks back in 1983.

Friday, March 12, will welcome The Long Run, a Tribute to the Eagles.

The Long Run is a Colorado-born band that reproduces the Eagles’ sound, songs, and spirit with haunting accuracy. Included in the group are five of the Front Range’s finest musicians, who play theaters and festivals all over the Western states. You will hear four and five-part harmonies from all the Eagles hits and beyond. With several multi-instrumentalists, accurate guitar work and a singing drummer, even the biggest Eagles fan should be pleased.

The festival is co-produced by Cornerhouse Grille and the Sheridan Arts Foundation, the non-profit that owns and operates the historic Sheridan Opera House. If you or your business is interested in sponsoring this new event, please call 970-728-6363 ext. 1.
