Just in time for spring: LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE. Monday, May 2, 6 p.m. Free to all. Cinematheque is a collaboration between the Telluride Film Festival and the Wilkinson Public Library.
The transition from winter to spring offers an opportunity for personal reflection. Join the Telluride Film Festival and Wilkinson Public Library for the “Hope Springs Eternal” series, which explores cinematic themes of rebirth and awakening. With TFF Ringmaster host and local cinephile, Seth Berg.
The four-part series concludes Monday, May 2, with the beloved LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE (2006, 101 minutes, Rated R).

Two-time Oscar-winner from directors Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris, the story follows the irresistible seven-year-old Olive (Abigail Breslin), who resolves that she will enter the “Little Miss Sunshine’ pageant. To help realize her dreams, her dysfunctional family embarks on a wild interstate road trip, culminating with one of the finest, most endearing cinematic scenes of all time. With Alan Arkin, Greg Kinnear, Steve Carell, and Toni Collette.
