Telluride’s KOTO Radio announces the 41^st Annual KOTO Ski Swap. The event takes place Friday, November 11, Saturday, November 12, and Sunday, November 13, at Telluride’s Wilkinson Public Library. Trade in your old winter schwag and shop for some new ski gear while supporting your local community radio station. Last chance for discounted ski pass. Following the Saturday swap, stay where you are to attend a multi-media presentation: “Tracking the Wild Coomba.” The event features author Rob Cocuzzo and Doug Coombs’ friend and admirer, adventurer-photographer Ace Kvale. The 2016 KOTO Ski Swap features a Freestyle FREE-Ride hosted by TelSki’s Park Crew at the base of Chair Eight. Kick off your winter season by hitting the features for FREE from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturday, November 12. KOTO will be broadcasting live and riders can enter to win schwag from Telluride Sports and BootDoctors.

Locals, don’t forget, the swap is your last chance to pick up your 2016-2017 ski season pass at the discounted price of $1200.

A $1 cash donation per item entered into the swap and a 20% commission of each sale benefits KOTO Radio.

Sign up to volunteer and get first dibs at the Pre-Swap happening Saturday morning, 8:30-10 a.m.

Schedule of Events for this years KOTO Ski Swap is as follows:

• Friday, November 11, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• Drop off your Winter Gear at the garage of the Telluride Library.  (A $1 CASH donation will be collected for each item entered into the swap. Items will be given a tag with a corresponding bar code for inventory purposes.) 

• Purchase season passes in the Library’s Program Room.

• Saturday, November 12, 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.

• Doors open for the PRE-Ski Swap Sale to all KOTO Volunteers. This is for VOLUNTEERS ONLY.  Doors DO NOT open to the PUBLIC until 10 a.m. sharp. Sale takes place in the garage.

• Saturday, November 12, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• KOTO Ski Swap opens to the general public.

• Purchase season passes in Program Room of the Wilkinson Public Library or at the base of Chair Eight.

• Saturday, November 12, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• TelSkis’ Freestyle FREE-Ride hosted by the TelSki Park Crew at the base of Chair Eight.

• Sunday, November 13, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• *Redeem your cash or pick up your items that did not sell in the Library’s garage.

• Monday, November 14,  noon to 3 p.m.

• *KOTO will host a CASH ONLY After-Swap Sale in the Library’s garage for all items not redeemed on Sunday.

• Monday, November 14, 3 p.m sharp.

• All unclaimed or unsold merchandise will be donated to  Second Chance Humane Society.

*Items not retrieved by 3 p.m. sharp on Monday, November 14, will be considered a donation to KOTO Radio and sent to Second Chance Humane Society.
