Telluride Blues & Brews returns with a dynamic, well-rounded mix of live blues, funk, indie, rock, jam band, gospel and soul performances featuring Bonnie Raitt, Steve Winwood, TajMo: The Taj Mahal & Keb’ Mo’ Band, Anders Osborne, Benjamin Booker, The Blind Boys of Alabama, The Magpie Salute.

Recent additions to the lineup include Drive-By Truckers, The Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band, John Németh & The Blue Dreamers, Hamish Anderson, Mitch Woods, Teresa James & The Rhythm Tramps, and Brian Keith Wallen.

Festival goers can also look forward to the return of stand-up comedy performances, which turn up the volume on Festival fun and games.

Comedians Ben Gleib, Troy Walker, Alex Edelman, and John Novosad join the 2017 lineup for shows on the Festival’s Blues Stage, plus, ahem, “dirty shows” during the night-time Juke Joint series.

In addition, performance painter Keith “Scramble” Campbell returns for his sixth consecutive year of live painting at the Festival. Campbell captures the energy and vibe of live music through his colorful, spirited images. He is scheduled to paint in front of the Main Stage all weekend long.

“Every year, I look to put together an eclectic line-up, one that stands out on the long list of festivals, says Steve Gumble, President of SBG Productions. “There are so many festivals out there, and quite often their line-ups start to look very similar. I really enjoy combining iconic musicians with young and talented artists to create a festival bill that appeals to both younger generations and more mature fans. Telluride Blues & Brews is for the whole family. I’m honored to be able to continue to bring incredible music and more to one of the most beautiful venues in the world.”

Daily schedules for the Main Stage, Blues Stage, Campground Stage, and late-night Juke Joints are to be released June 7, 2017.

About:

Renowned as one of the most scenic and intimate music festivals in the country, Telluride Blues & Brews is located in the world-famous picturesque mountain town of Telluride, Colorado. The multi-stage (Main Stage, Blues Stage, Campground Stage) celebration of music and craft brews offers an eclectic mix of live blues, funk, indie, rock, jam-band, gospel and soul performances.

Some of the best craft breweries in the country, along with a wide variety of local and regional food and craft vendors, children’s activities (climbing wall, bounce houses and bungee trampolines, parades), cozy late night club shows (Juke Joints), an art gallery, a 5k fundraiser race, free yoga sessions and much more round out the 24th annual weekend celebration.

Set at the beginning of the fall foliage season, the event also boasts a number of unique local outdoor activities, including hiking, mountain biking, plus a free gondola between Town of Telluride and Mountain Village.
