LTL Architects is a design intensive architecture firm founded in 1997, located in New York City.

Lewis.Tsurumaki.Lewis engages a diverse range of work, from large-scale academic and cultural buildings to interiors and speculative research projects, determined by the selection committee – with support from the community – to be a perfect fit for the wide-ranging functions planned for the new Warehouse interior, which include a café and bar, visual art exhibitions, special events spaces, and flexibility throughout.

When opened, (estimates are by 2020), the Warehouse will be free and open to the public and a gathering place for the Telluridecommunity.

A favorite feature of the building is the proposed rooftop bar with views of the mountains and the awe-inspiring Telluride alpenglow.

LTL Architects was featured in the U.S. Pavilion at the 2004 Venice Architecture Biennale. Their work is in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art in NY,; the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art; and the Carnegie Museum of Art.

Needless to say, LTL has proven talents and diverse design concepts.

LTL Architects will be breathing new life into the Transfer Warehouse building by inserting a state-of-the-art, best-in- class design into the existing historic envelope of the original building.

Telluride Arts is confident that LTL Architects can design the right spaces to fulfill its vision.

Come meet the architects and learn in greater depth about their firm and ideas for the Warehouse.
Telluride Arts is a non-profit arts agency founded in 1971 that elevates a culture of the arts in the Telluride Arts District.
